US crude oil inventories increased by 0.574 million barrels in the week ending November 28, 2025, following a 2.774 million barrel rise the previous week and defying market expectations for a 0.8 million barrel draw. At the Cushing, Oklahoma delivery hub, crude stocks fell by 0.457 thousand barrels, marking the fourth consecutive week of declines. Meanwhile, gasoline inventories rose sharply by 4.52 million barrels, exceeding forecasts of a 1.5 million-barrel build, while distillate stockpiles, which include diesel and heating oil, fell by 0.293 million barrels, compared with expectations for a 0.7 million-barrel increase.
