Malta Tasso Di Inflazione

Malta's annual inflation rate stood at 2.5% in November 2025, unchanged from the previous period. Prices edged up for food and non-alcoholic beverages (3.4% vs 3.3% in October), housing and utilities (1.7% vs 1.6%), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (1.8% vs 1.7%), health (2.9% vs 2.8%), restaurants and hotels (4% vs 3.7%), and recreation and culture (3.6% vs 3.3%). Moreover, deflation softened for clothing and footwear (-1.7% vs -2.9%). On the other hand, costs moderated for transport (2.2% vs 3.2%), furnishings, household equipment and routine household maintenance (1.2% vs 1.3%), and miscellaneous goods and services (3.5% vs 3.8%). In addition, deflation worsened for communication (-5% vs -4%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.7% in November, rebounding from a 0.9% fall in the previous month.
