Benin Tasso Di Inflazione

The consumer prices in Benin fell 0.2% year-on-year in November 2022, marking the second consecutive period of deflation after a 1.1% drop in October. Prices continued to decline for food & non-alcoholic beverages (-4.4% vs -8.3% in October), while costs slowed sharply for transport (8.2% vs 12.3%), and clothing & footwear (0.3% vs 1.1%). In contrast, inflation primarily accelerated for housing & utilities (1.9% vs 0.9%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices jumped 1.8%, the largest rise since October 2022.
